In every industry he touched — IT, SaaS, automotive retail — the right opportunity kept landing with the wrong person. Graham Nessel spent 12 years on the automotive floor watching it bleed revenue quietly. He decided automotive was the place to fix it first.

He pitched the idea to Paul Buchanan, a seasoned engineer who'd spent 15 years building systems at scale. They saw the same problem from opposite ends — one from the floor, one from the stack — and agreed: this is solvable.

BolderDays is named after a chapter they shared in Boulder, Colorado. We spelled it differently because this time, we're doing something bolder.
